Accounts Receivable Team Leader 12 Month FTC
Our role
Reporting into the Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Accounts Receivable function. This is a newly created team and has scope to grow. The business plans to double the current turnover within the next 5 years, so its an exciting time to join Network Plus. The team consists of 1 direct report who is responsible for the day-to-day activity, who the successful candidate will lead. As well as develop relationships with key stakeholders and lead process improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the AR Assistant and provide support with client invoice queries and root cause analysis
- Manage the end-to-end receivables activity, including client invoice creation, dunning and legal escalations, resolving aged debtors and mitigating any credit risk.
- Process inter-company invoicing on a monthly basis along with clearing down debtors.
Management of daily bank postings and bank reconciliation - currently across 7 legal entities.
Completion of aged receivables reports.
Interrogation of weekly aged debt summaries which are sent to the Senior Leadership Team.
Leading debt conference call with key internal stakeholders.
Completing credit checks across current and new business to ensure we are not trading at risk.
- Process documentation and mapping.
- Point of contact for internal and external audit teams.
Contribute and support projects, as required.
Engage with both internal and external clients.
Experience and Qualifications
- CICM/AAT qualified or working towards this or a similar qualification preferable.
- AR/Sales Ledger experience
- People Management experience
- Proficient in the use of Excel ideally, formulas, V-Look ups and Pivot Tables
- A team player with excellent communication skills and a pro-active common-sense approach.
- Self-managed, able to use their own initiative and work as an individual or as part of a team.
- Experience of Business Central preferable.
- Comfortable with change and can work in a fast-paced environment.
