Your new firmYou will be joining a leading, well-established top 20 practice, who are located across the North West, with over 100 years of experience and expertise. They specialise in varying service, including audit and assurance, advisory, tax, outsourcing, accounts, payroll and more, where your career can really see a step forward. With the backing of a larger group, you will see exposure to a varying client portfolio ranging from small local SMEs to larger national groups. Due to ongoing internal growth, they are now seeking an Accounts Semi senior to join their already growing team and hit the ground running and strengthen their accounts department.Your new roleYou will be joining a team of accounts professionals for you to both develop and learn from. Day to day duties will consist of assisting your team and seniors completing accounts preparation up to your managers' review. This will include getting involved with statutory accounts preparation, VAT returns, tax returns and bookkeeping duties. You will also be using IRIS, CCH and Xero software.What you'll need to succeedIn order to succeed in this role, you will need at least 2 years previous experience within an accountancy firm, being part qualified through either your ACCA or ACA qualifications. General and good knowledge of putting accounts together is also required. General interpersonal skills will also be needed in order to succeed. This consists of being able to form and maintain relationships with clients.
