We are seeking an experienced Affiliate & PR Manager to lead and grow a dynamic affiliate marketing programme. This pivotal role will be responsible for expanding the programme’s reach into new markets, while optimising performance in existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:

Affiliate Programme Development:

  • Manage and optimise publisher networks to drive sustainable growth.
  • Identify and recruit a diverse range of affiliate partners, including discount code, CSS, and influencer partnerships.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Leverage data insights to optimise affiliate performance and ROI.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling affiliate marketing materials and promotional offers.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging affiliate marketing technologies.

Public Relations:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with publishers across multiple continents.
  • Develop and implement a robust editorial content strategy to increase media coverage and drive sales.
  • Identify and pitch relevant media opportunities to secure press coverage in key markets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
  • Monitor media coverage and analyse PR campaign effectiveness.

Market Expansion:

  • Lead the expansion of the affiliate programme into new markets, identifying suitable networks and onboarding new publishers.
  • Adapt the affiliate strategy to accommodate different market dynamics and consumer behaviours.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless market entry and localisation of marketing materials.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in affiliate marketing, ideally within the e-commerce industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the UK retail market, with experience in European and US markets being advantageous.
  • Experience building and scaling affiliate programmes from inception.
  • Strong understanding of various affiliate partner types and their effective management.
  • Experience in writing editorial content and managing press relations.
  • Exceptional organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and optimise campaign performance.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with affiliate networks and tracking platforms.
  • A strong commercial acumen and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
