Associate Director, Building Surveyor, Manchester/West Yorkshire

We are currently working with a firm of Surveyors who are exploring the market in the Northwest to find a Chartered residential experienced Building Surveyor who can join them on their journey of expansion.

This is a new role and the first hire that they will be making for the Northwest, offering scope to develop and build a more established team over time.

We are keen to speak to Chartered Building Surveyors in and around the Manchester area who can cover the M62 corridor, working with current clients and establishing new ones.

The overall remit will be to grow a client base and to put together a team of likeminded surveyors.

Suitable candidates will enjoy both the day to day surveying side but also like to get involved in business development.

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified.
  • Experience of undertaking building surveys on properties and managing own projects.
  • Client-facing and able to generate business.

Duties will include conducting Residential Building Surveys, Contract Administration, Project coordination of refurbishment schemes, Party Wall Surveying, Building Pathology Reports (Defect Reports), Reinstatement Cost Assessments, Capital Expenditure Plans.

On offer and in return for your time and commitment you will receive a competitive base salary up to 70,000, performance bonus, 25 days holiday, RICS membership fees, car allowance of 5,000 and a pension. Flexible working (home / office / hybrid).
