Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Rigging and operating audio equipment for a variety of live, virtual, and hybrid events.
- Collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality technical services.
- Leading a team of freelance staff, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, venue staff, and crew both onsite and prior to events.
- Maintaining and preparing audio equipment in the warehouse.
- Working with the Head of Audio to enhance and improve our department.
- Delivering and collecting equipment using company vehicles.
- Assisting other departments as needed to support the overall business.
Qualifications & Key Attributes:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a live events sound engineer, especially in the corporate sector.
- Experience with Front of House and Monitor mixing for live music acts.
- Previous experience with corporate conferences and awards ceremonies.
- Proficiency in Yamaha digital mixing consoles (CL and QL series).
- Knowledge of d&b line arrays, amplifiers, array calc, and R1 control network.
- Strong working knowledge of Qlab programming.
- Skilled at handling pressure in live event environments.
- Full UK driving license and own transport.
Working Hours:
This role requires flexibility, with weekend work expected due to the nature of the industry. We aim to ensure a healthy work-life balance where possible.
Holidays:
- 28 days per year.
- After 3 years' service: Birthday off (within 7 days of your birthday).
- After 5 years' service: Additional day off.
