Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Rigging and operating audio equipment for a variety of live, virtual, and hybrid events.
  • Collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality technical services.
  • Leading a team of freelance staff, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Liaising with clients, suppliers, venue staff, and crew both onsite and prior to events.
  • Maintaining and preparing audio equipment in the warehouse.
  • Working with the Head of Audio to enhance and improve our department.
  • Delivering and collecting equipment using company vehicles.
  • Assisting other departments as needed to support the overall business.

Qualifications & Key Attributes:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a live events sound engineer, especially in the corporate sector.
  • Experience with Front of House and Monitor mixing for live music acts.
  • Previous experience with corporate conferences and awards ceremonies.
  • Proficiency in Yamaha digital mixing consoles (CL and QL series).
  • Knowledge of d&b line arrays, amplifiers, array calc, and R1 control network.
  • Strong working knowledge of Qlab programming.
  • Skilled at handling pressure in live event environments.
  • Full UK driving license and own transport.

Working Hours:

This role requires flexibility, with weekend work expected due to the nature of the industry. We aim to ensure a healthy work-life balance where possible.

Holidays:

  • 28 days per year.
  • After 3 years' service: Birthday off (within 7 days of your birthday).
  • After 5 years' service: Additional day off.
