This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about the audio visual industry, looking to develop their skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment. As a technician, you will assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for a variety of events, meetings, and productions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of audio-visual equipment, including projectors, screens, staging, sound systems
  • Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during events and productions.
  • Transport a variety of equipment from the warehouse to a range of venues in the North-West.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of both sound and visual output during live events, meetings, and recordings.
  • Maintain and inventory equipment, ensuring everything is in working order and stored safely.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high standards of service execution.
  • Follow safety protocols and company procedures when handling equipment and working on-site.

Requirements:

  • Full clean UK driving license (needs to be able to drive a van)
  • Technical experience with AV equipment
  • General IT knowledge
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Based in or near Manchester, with a willingness to travel
