The Role

As a Bakery Operative, you'll play a key role in producing high-quality baked goods while ensuring smooth production operations. From operating machinery to adhering to strict quality and safety standards, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic and fast-paced team.

Main Responsibility

• Producing bakery goods to specification, ensuring product quality and safety.
• Operating machinery and equipment to maximize efficiency and ensure smooth production.
• Monitoring key parameters that impact food safety, quality, and legality, and recording any discrepancies.
• Reporting issues with products, equipment, or facilities promptly.
• Following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintaining personal hygiene.
• Ensuring a clean and safe working environment through a "clean as you go" approach.
• Completing all necessary production documentation accurately.
• Prioritizing and multitasking tasks to meet tight production schedules.
• Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Performing equipment safety checks and maintaining good housekeeping.
• Adhering to company health and safety regulations.

The Candidate

We're looking for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience as a Bakery Operative or working in food manufacturing.
• Bakery-related qualifications (desirable but not essential).
• A strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
