A leading HR tech company trusted by over 100,000 businesses globally to simplify HR tasks is looking for a BI Developer to join their vibrant Manchester team.

Job Purpose:

As a BI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing dashboards and reports, empowering stakeholders with the insights needed for data-driven decision-making. You'll be maintaining and enhancing existing Power BI tools while collaborating closely with the Data Engineering team to refine processes and handle new data requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage Power BI dashboards and reports that support key business decisions.
  • Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders, including executives, to gather reporting needs and expectations.
  • Leverage your knowledge of Azure Synapse, SQL Server, and DAX to enrich and optimize data models.
  • Continuously improve existing reports and dashboards with new technology updates.
  • Ensure data integrity and help shape data practices across the company.

About You

  • Proven experience with Power BI, SQL Server, and Azure Synapse.
  • Skilled in DAX and SSAS tabular models.
  • Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, gathering clear data requirements.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and manage expectations in a fast-paced, data-reliant environment.
  • Experience managing a Power BI estate and influencing change across teams.
