Are you a hands-on, detail-driven technician looking for a role in the exciting live events industry? We’re seeking a Cable Prep Technician to join a growing technical team based in Manchester.

About the Role:You'll play a key part in preparing and maintaining equipment—particularly in the cables and power departments—for productions and dry hires. This role is integral to upholding high technical standards and smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and maintaining cables and power equipment
  • Cleaning, recoiling, and testing cables (Cat5/6/6a, Socapex, 3-phase)
  • PAT testing and general maintenance
  • Loading/unloading trucks and vans
  • Occasional site work and deliveries (UK driving license an advantage)
  • Ensuring workspace cleanliness and safety

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a similar role within the events industry
  • Strong electrical safety knowledge
  • Team player with high self-motivation and initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • IT proficiency
  • Forklift license (advantageous but not essential)
