Prestigious opportunity within a pioneering technology team for a Cloud Platform Team Lead to drive our Cloud Transformation!
If you are interested in joining this industry leading project, you will be responsible for:-
- Cloud infrastructure technologies and services, managing a team of Cloud engineers
- Overseeing the management and development of native cloud infrastructure and services related to the MS Azure environment and managing the core platform and dev ops functions.
- Migrating legacy infrastructure services and solutions to modern native cloud-based infrastructure services.
- Providing strategic direction and work with enterprise and solution architecture.
- Leading and supporting project and operational activities.
- Recruiting, mentoring and developing a technical team.
If you possess a combination of some of the following skills, then LETS TALK!
- Re-engineering legacy infrastructure solutions and adopting new cloud native services
- Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing cloud operations in a complex environment
- In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure VMs, Azure SQL Database, Azure AD, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub).
- Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
