Cloud Secops Engineer
Salary: £60 000 - £80 000
Location: Manchester or Edinburgh
We have partnered with a forward-thinking financial institution dedicated to safeguarding their digital platforms and protecting both customers and employees against emerging cyber threats. Their Cloud Security Operations team is integral to building and operating secure services in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
They're looking for a Cloud SecOps Engineer to embed security into every stage of the development lifecycle, from design to deployment. This role offers the chance to work across domains, identify vulnerabilities proactively, and support robust security practices within a cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Skills & Requirements:Expertise in technology security controls and cloud security, particularly AWSExperience in Agile methodologies and working in fast-paced, collaborative teamsKnowledge of vulnerability and risk management, threat detection, and incident responseProficiency with tools such as Inspector, Security Hub, Docker, GitLab, and KubernetesExperience with KMS, secret management, HSMs, and IAMStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical issues in business terms
Tech Stack: AWS | Kubernetes | GitLab | Docker | Threat Detection & Hunting ToolsSalary: 60k - 80k, including Bonus, 28 Days Holiday, and PensionLocation: Manchester or Edinburgh- 1 day a week
