We are seeking a Contracts Manager for one of our Manchester Based clients, the ideal candidate is a qualified solicitor - UK experience is essential and US experience is desirable - Offices based in New York, Tulsa & Manchester, working across North America, EMEA & Australia.

The successful candidate will manage the insurance arrangements for the whole group, providing input and suggestions ensuring they are fit for purpose, cost effective and managed from inception through to contractual renewals. Review and update contracts and related policies. (New business, customer renewals, data protection, privacy, intercompany licensing agreements.)

Salary - £75-85k P/A - Extensive benefits on offer.

About The Role:

  • Manage all insurance arrangements for the Group ensuring compliance.
  • Review and updating of large scale contracts and related policies (New business onboarding, customer renewals, Data protection, Privacy & Interco licence agreements)
  • Provide advice and guidance to the business where appropriate on a wide range of legal matters, ensuring the legal function gets included in document updates
  • Review, form a legal perspective, any potential acquisitions and investments.
  • Focus on continuous improvements and deliver on project support when required.
  • Point of contact for ad-hoc support where required on a range of legal activities to the Group.
  • Review and approve commercial / corporate contractual agreements covering existing and new customers as well as suppliers

About You:

  • Qualified lawyer with corporate law experience - 5 years minimum
  • Experience of managing corporate / commercial contracts in a private organisation
  • Corporate Law experience
  • UK Legal experience - Essential
  • Competent in managing large scale insurance arrangements
  • SAAS experience desirable
  • US Legal experience - Desirable.
