Douglas Scott is partnering with a prestigious law firm looking to expand their Residential Conveyancing team. The firm, renowned for its exceptional industry reputation and client feedback, offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate to manage their Conveyancing team.Role overviewThe Conveyancing Team Leader is responsible for ensuring the performance and delivery of a quality service throughout the department, with a client focused operation within their assigned office.They will be managing a diverse team of conveyancers, fee earners, solicitors and admin staff and they must ensure the completion of all tasks within the team are in line with the departments strategy, alongside managing their own caseload. These strategies will include meeting the financial targets and the standard of client expectations.Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing teams with diverse legal and technical expertise is essential.
  • Strong understanding of related products and services utilised.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels and resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Proficient in accurately conveying technical information to non-technical users, both in written and verbal formats.
  • Demonstrated client-focused approach to service delivery.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Solid experience with case management systems.
  • Background in working within fast-paced environments.
