My client is searching for a Costs Lawyer/Costs Draftsperson to join their Manchester, Greater Manchester team on a Hybrid basis. About the role

• My client are looking for a costs draftsperson to join their busy and dynamic Costs Team. You will be responsible for preparing bills of costs, schedules of costs, points of dispute and replies, as well as negotiating settlements with the other side. You will work closely with our fee earners and external costs consultants to ensure that our costs are recovered in a timely and efficient manner. You will also assist with costs management, budgeting and reporting.

Essential skills

- 5+ years experience as a costs lawyer or costs draftsperson.- Good knowledge of CPR and case law.- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.- Commercial awareness.- Proactive and flexible approach to work.- Strong team player with a positive attitude.- Excellent client care skills.
