Tradewind Recruitment is excited to offer you an incredible opportunity to contribute to the progress and success of pupils in Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) classes at 'Outstanding' and 'Good' rated schools across Greater Manchester.

This role is set to begin in January 2025 and is available on a full-time, part-time, or flexible basis, running through to the end of the academic year. Based on your success in the role, there's potential for an extension.

Pay: £120 to £210 per day, depending on experience.Locations: Manchester, Tameside, Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale, Bolton, Bury, Salford, and Trafford.

Primary Teacher Role Overview

As the successful candidate, you'll take responsibility for the progress and achievement of a high-performing KS1/KS2 class.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum and the school's creative approach.
  • Meeting age-related expectations while adapting learning to suit individual pupil needs, ensuring maximum outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate records, analysing data, and addressing learning gaps to sustain high attainment levels.
  • Building positive relationships with pupils based on trust and respect.
  • Collaborating effectively with the Teaching Assistant, key stage teams, and wider staff to share resources and best practices.
Essential Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Strong references supporting prior experience in KS1 and/or KS2 teaching.
  • A comprehensive CV outlining your full employment history.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.

Note: All candidates must provide suitable references and undergo an enhanced DBS check.
