Role Overview:

  • As the Deal Origination Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the establishment and development of a new function. Working closely with the newly appointed Head of Deal Origination, as well as the delivery and marketing teams, you will be responsible for identification and development of leads for the firm ensuring we always have a strong pipeline of transactions.
  • ?This role requires an outgoing individual that has a meticulous approach to sales and Business Development. Alongside direct approach lead generation you will be responsible for keeping our CRM system up to date to ensure we are identifying and contacting the right prospects as well as supporting the wider deal origination and marketing teams in a variety of interesting and associated tasks.

Responsibilities:

Direct Lead Generation.

  • Proactively source and identify deal mandate opportunities through various channels, with a focus on direct, often cold outreach to potential clients that meet the desired client profile.
  • Research industries and potential clients building and delivering contact strategies around each to drive engagement levels.

?Relationship Management.

  • Cultivate strong and enduring relationships with prospects to position the company as the go-to advisory partner.
  • Create rapport with potential clients to facilitate deal origination.

?Social Media.

  • Use of social media accounts to drive both brand recognition and lead generation through targeted approach of Lower Mid-Market businesses.

Origination Strategy.

  • Assist the Head of Origination to develop and implement a comprehensive origination strategy to identify and target potential clients seeking corporate finance advisory services.
  • Stay informed of market trends, industry developments, and the competitive landscape to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the market.

?Market Intelligence.

  • Monitor and analyse industry trends, M&A activity, and emerging opportunities using the systems available to identify potential areas of growth and tailor the origination strategy accordingly.

?Reporting and Tracking.

  • Maintain accurate records of all deal origination activities, leads, and pipeline status.
  • Regularly update the management team on progress, achievements, and challenges faced.
  • Use a data driven approach to assessing effectiveness of and improving the origination strategy.

?Manage.

  • Take responsibility for your results and manage data clarity.

?Mentor and Train.

  • Train so that skills are developed around the team allowing for scale, career progression and development.

?Skills & Experience:

Essential:

  • A self-starting individual who works well on their own or part of a team and is driven by results.
  • Experience in a telesales environment.
  • Consultative style and hunter mentality.
  • Professional and measured approach.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently, target driven and motivated by results.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products and internet research tools.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems to track activity, manage relationships and track lead/opportunity progress.
  • Good knowledge and use of platforms such as LinkedIn to drive activity.

Desirable:

  • Graduate.
  • Technical knowledge of M&A and Fundraising services.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
