Job Title: Director of Finance (Non-Statutory)

Location: Hybrid (Think Park, Trafford Park, Manchester)

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We are looking for a Director of Finance (non-statutory) who can embody these values and drive our financial strategy forward.

Job Purpose: Reporting to the Co-MD (Corporate Resources), the Director of Finance will be responsible for a range of strategic, operational, and financial responsibilities aimed at ensuring the financial health and success of the company. This role requires a strong leader who can improve existing processes, manage risks, and provide strategic financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling. Provide strategic financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Financial Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks. Develop and implement risk management strategies.
• Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, relationships with financial institutions, and investment strategies.
• Strategic Financial Leadership: Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems. Lead and develop the finance team.

Key Challenges and Opportunities:

• Scope to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• As part of the UK Senior Leadership Team contribute to the success of a growing £140m UK business and £5 billion global group.
• Improve the current budgeting process and implement better control measures.
• Enhance efficiencies within the department and improve accounting accuracy.
• Work with our French finance team and directors and ensure robust financial reporting and compliance.
• Address temporary payroll challenges and improve balance sheet reconciliation controls.
• Automate processes and improve sales and margin reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified with a minimum of 10 years of finance leadership experience.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
• Experience in the recruitment industry is highly desirable.
• Strong character with the ability to challenge the norm and drive change.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
