Document controller Manchester Competitive Salary My client is growing regional contractor, that due to an increase in developments in the Northwest are looking for a document controller. This contractor is forward thinking and really making a significate impact within its marketplace. They deliver a solid range of projects from refurbishment to new builds, across various sectors Project values £0.5million up to around £10million. These include projects on schools, NHS, industrial and some civils works. As a document controller you will have excellent communication and multi tasking skills, being used to working in a busy on site environment. Responsibilities • Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents and drawings.• Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.• Generate the various document control reports as required.• Support Project and Design Managers by ensuring that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.• Maintain updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly. • Maintain the files and control logs as required by the project.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor that invest and develops its people.
