We are looking for an enthusiastic Pre-Employment Tutor to deliver Level 1 & 2 employability qualifications to unemployed job seekers, supporting them through sector-specific training and development.

The job:

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality employability training across various sector-led programmes.
  • Design and adapt lesson plans and resources to meet diverse learning styles, ensuring content is tailored to individual needs.
  • Guide learners through portfolio completion, providing ongoing support and preparing them for final assessments.
  • Facilitate both in-person and remote sessions, maintaining an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Manage contractual paperwork and ensure compliance with auditing and Ofsted requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of training programmes.


Required Skills:

  • Experience delivering training or working within sectors such as Customer Service, Care, Hospitality, Retail, Business Administration, Facilities, Construction, or Health & Safety in the Construction Environment and CSCS card.
  • Strong ability to differentiate content for learners of varying backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Proven experience in managing compliance-related documentation and contributing to successful audit/Ofsted inspections.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to connect with learners from all walks of life.


Due to the nature of this role you will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check and there will be regular travel across the region so access to your own vehicle is essential.
