The role involves managing Housing Disrepair cases, both pre-litigation and litigation and can be worked remotely.The main responsibilities include ensuring compliance with the Housing Disrepair Pre-Action Protocol, assessing liability, drafting court documents, issuing Part 7 court proceedings, and adhering to court directions. The individual must maintain accurate information within the case management system, meet key deadlines, and manage their task list proactively.Key duties include reviewing RICS reports, valuing damages and repairs, reviewing medical records, compiling special damages, and negotiating settlements. Regular communication with clients via telephone and email is required to ensure case progression.The role demands compliance with the firm's SLA, Lexcel standards, and client care protocols, alongside demonstrating commercial awareness and flexibility.The individual is expected to work both independently and as part of a team, achieving monthly financial and administrative targets. Proficiency in IT systems such as MS Outlook, MS Word, and Proclaim is essential.
