Head of Engineering - Remote - £90,000 The Company:Lorien Global are working in partnership with a growing secure cloud-based software solution. After a recent acquisition they're now powered with investment to grow their business with ambitious plans to add new operations and technical staff over the coming months.The Role:As the Head of Engineering, your responsibility will span Software, Infrastructure and Security, embracing a DevOps culture throughout the business. Aligning with the technical roadmap you'll ensure the teams are on track with delivery of new feature changes, and fault resolution.We're looking for an ambitious leader who stays involved with emerging trends and want to join a rapidly growing cloud platform provider.The Requirements:

• Previously held a leadership position, developing core strategies for software development
• Excellent understanding of how to grow a engineering teams across Software and Platform Engineering
• Solid knowledge of coding languages CFML (Lucee, ColdFusion), JavaScript, jQuery
• Good understanding of DevOps best practise (CI/CD, IaC, etc.)
• Excellent SQL knowledge (MariaDB)
• Knowledge of an Agile delivery model
• Excellent communicator to internal and external stakeholders
