Our high performing, unique and innovative Trust is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Finance to provide oversight and day to day support on all finance and resource matters relating to the Trust.

Our Trust is comprised of four mainstream high schools and five special schools, both primary and secondary. We have ambitious plans and work collaboratively between our academies to ensure that all our schools become the best that they can be. We have a strong belief in providing every child in the Trust the opportunity to develop the life skills necessary to become confident and successful and happy 21st century citizens.

The Head of Finance will lead on matters relating to finance for the Trust and provide oversight, advice and guidance to our individual academies; ensuring there is effective and efficient financial management across the Trust and that our mission and values are embedded in financial practices.

The successful candidate will also play a lead role in the financial development of the Trust Strategic Plan and plan and lead in the design, development and implementation of systems, policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all relevant financial legislation relating to the Trust.

We are looking for a self-driven, committed and experienced individual with strong leadership skills to deliver positive outcomes for the Trust and our academies, and supporting the vision, values and objectives of the organisation.

Our ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with significant experience of leading financial planning for an organisation, including financial analysis and risk management, budget management and driving efficiencies. You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
