Morson are currently partnering with a leading manufacturer with national coverage as they recruit for an ER Case Manager to join the HR team. 

This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary of up to £45,000 DOE. You can be based at any of the 10 UK sites however there will be a requirement to travel to other sites. 

You will have the flexibility for some home working, however this role will require a mix of working at your office, at a different site and at home. A pool car or enhanced PPM is offered to compensate for travel. 

As an ER Case Manager, you will be responsible for promoting a positive work culture by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. You will provide expert advice to management and employees on workplace issues, conducting investigations, and supporting initiatives that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities: 

  • Main point of contact across the business for ER related queries and case management 
  • Support the Head of HR in all ER related matters
  • Build strong working relationships with unions 
  • Develop, review and update HR policies and procedures 
  • Plan and deliver training on ER procedures 
  • Ensure all processes follow legal compliance 
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies to enhance the working environment 
  • Support initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture
  • Utilise ER data to report and make data driven decisions 
  • Provide regular reports to management teams on ER metrics and trends 

Requirements: 

  • Strong background in an ER-focussed role
  • Proven track record of managing workplace conflicts and conducting investigations and disciplinary hearings
  • Strong employment law knowledge
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information 
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Flexibility to travel to other UK sites when required
