Are you passionate about health, safety, environment, and quality? My client is the UKs largest supplier of access, scaffolding, safety & training products. Theyre seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to drive a culture of continuous improvement and ensure compliance with regulations across our Generation business.

As a key leader in their team, you will provide expert advice on occupational health, safety, environment, quality, and welfare matters, while driving their commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Protect the health and safety of employees, ensuring legislative compliance and mitigating risks.
  • Develop and maintain a routine schedule of audits and inspections; conduct them, produce accurate reports, and ensure timely closure of actions.
  • Stay updated with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation and standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HSEQ management systems and site-specific documentation.
  • Deliver internal and externally accredited training courses relevant to the business activities.
  • Generate accurate monthly HSEQ performance reports and investigate accidents/incidents to prevent recurrence.
  • Advise and coach employees on health and safety issues and identify trends in incidents.
  • Work closely with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to support and enhance the company's safety performance and growth.
  • Lead HSEQ initiatives within the designated region in the UK and Ireland, including approximately 45 days of travel to Ireland per year, with potential for variation based on business needs.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree (preferred but not essential).
  • NEBOSH IGC or Diploma or other HSEQ-related certifications.
  • ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 Lead Auditor trained.
  • Membership of a recognised professional HSEQ body.
  • Minimum 5 years experience as an HSEQ Advisor or Compliance Officer with a proven track record in managing health and safety systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE management systems and UK & Ireland HSEQ legislation.
  • Strong experience in risk assessments, audit processes, and root cause analysis.
