We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Insolvency Cashier to join a fast-growing firm in Manchester. This role is ideal for someone who has previous experience working as an Insolvency Cashier within an Insolvency Practitioner (IP) firm. However, they are also open to considering candidates with strong general bookkeeping experience who are eager to transition into the insolvency sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle and reconcile client accounts related to insolvency cases.
  • Process receipts, and payments, and manage cash flow in accordance with insolvency regulations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with case managers and other team members to support the effective management of insolvency cases.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as an Insolvency Cashier in an IP firm is highly desirable.
  • Candidates with solid bookkeeping experience will also be considered.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the insolvency sector.
