About the Role:We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our dynamic financial services team based in Manchester City Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an A-Level graduate or recent university graduate with a keen eye for accuracy and a passion for finance. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bank Account Management: Open and close bank accounts as required.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of bank statements.
  • Transaction Processing: Handle and process financial transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Receipts & Journals: Maintain and process receipts and journal entries.
  • Invoice Management: Raise and manage invoices for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • VAT Returns: Assist in preparing and submitting VAT returns.
  • Bank Correspondence: Liaise with banks to resolve queries and manage account-related matters.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Support the finance team with various administrative and operational duties as needed.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in a finance or administrative role is advantageous but not essential.
