Junior AV Install Engineer
Location: Manchester (Office-based) with Nationwide Travel
Salary: 25,000 + Company Van
An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for a Junior Install Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic chance for someone with practical experience using power tools and hand tools who is looking to develop a long-term career in the audio-visual industry.
The successful candidate will support the installation of AV and video conferencing systems (including Yealink, Logitech, speakers, and full meeting room kits) in corporate environments across the UK. You will be based out of the Manchester office, with regular nationwide travel. A company van will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and configure AV systems at client sites
Work with power and hand tools to mount, cable, and set up equipment
Interact professionally with clients and maintain high service standards
Travel across the UK, including overnight stays when required
Learn from senior engineers with the goal of progressing to Senior AV Install Engineer within 12 months
Requirements:
Practical experience with power tools and hand tools
Strong communication and customer-facing skills
A full UK driving license (essential)
Willingness to travel nationwide and occasionally stay overnight
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
