Leading Manchester destination & culture PR agency are looking for a consumer PR Account Director to join its fast growing team.

The role will see you lead a mix of high profile and exciting national and international consumer luxury, hospitality, tourism/travel, destination, entertainment, event/festival & lifestyle clients.

As an Account Director, you will be at the forefront of the agency’s communication strategies, driving impactful PR campaigns and leading a team of Account Managers and Account Executives. Your role will be integral in maintaining and growing client relationships, securing high-profile media coverage, and positioning our clients as leaders in their industries.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Client Management.
  • Strategy Development and Implementation.
  • Identifying opportunities for clients to enhance their media presence and reputation.
  • Team Leadership and Development.
  • Media Relations.
  • Monitoring and Reporting.
  • Business Development.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a PR agency in a leadership role, managing a team of PR professionals working on luxury, hospitality, tourism/travel, destination, entertainment, event/festival or lifestyle clients.
  • Strategic ability to develop and implement effective PR strategies that align with clients’ business objectives.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with exceptional copywriting and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, able to relate to people at all levels within the agency, with clients, and with the media.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key media figures and influencers.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
