Manager | Boutique Professional Services | Central MCR | £70k-£75k + up to 40% bonus + 10% pensionI am delighted to be working alongside an excellent professional services firm who are continuing their fantastic growth story in Manchester with the addition of a Manager to their exclusive, high calibre team.The role will report directly to the Partner, and very much act as no.2 in the team, working closely with the Partner to further establish an excellent team and widen their reach across the Greater Manchester region and beyond.The role is ideal for a Qualified individual who has gained Advisory experience (CF, TS, Restructuring etc) and is looking to continue their pursuit of career development in an organisation that focuses a lot of attention on employee growth. With two current serving Partners joining the business at Manager grade, there is a proven pathway toward senior leadership, with market leading incentives to accompany this achievement. I am looking to speak to anyone who is passionate in providing a strong, and well established client base with commercial support. This is very much a value-add role, in an environment that encourages flexibility (3 days in the office), flexible hours and a focus on creating an appropriate work life balance.Duties:

  • Lead and deliver client assignments in an autonomous style, showing flexibility a clear expertise and exceptional results.
  • Manage the workload of a small team, creating a productive environment to exceed client expectations.
  • Liaise directly with clients, taking ownersip of the project and client relationship.
  • Lead on project planning and design, cultivating pragmatic approaches to client problems.
  • Maintain a cost and project status to ensure profitability fo deliverables.
  • Effectively identify ongoing issues, creating solutions and mitigating risk.
  • Present work in a clear manner and to a high standard.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance and coaching to junior team members, overseeing and reviewing their work.
  • Cultivate strong relationships and build a deep understanding of client challenges.
  • Support business development efforts through analysis, lead generation and propsals. 

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Accountant with c.5 years post qualified experience.
  • Exceptional excel skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets.
  • Track record of delivery project work for external clients.
  • Consultancy/ Advisory experience in a recognised firm.
  • Excellent interpersonal skillset, with the capability to build strong external relationships.
