Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £48,000 - £50,000

Location: Manchester

Shift: 4 on 4 off (Days and Nights)

Are you a talented Maintenance Engineer with a passion for keeping production lines running smoothly? We're seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical Bias to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Role:

  • Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
  • Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to plant optimisation.

Skills required for the Maintenance Engineer role:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong electrical expertise, with knowledge of mechanical systems as an advantage.
  • Qualifications in Electrical Engineering (NVQ Level 3 minimum).
  • PLC fault-finding and repair experience is desirable.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach and ability to work under pressure.
