Night Class 1 Driver TTP Contract 45-50 hours. Great opportunity to drive for one of the leading UK Road Transport organizations. Duties:
- Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods to various locations.
- Plan and follow the most efficient and safe routes.
- Standard route MAN-LHR-MAN; sometimes you may be asked to do an extra stop at BHX station on the way back.
- Ensure that collections and deliveries are made on time, within regulations, and with minimal disruption.
- Secure and load cargo appropriately to prevent damage during transport.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and routes.
- Start time=19:00hrs Approx finishing time=06:00am
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Drivers License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving a Class 1 vehicle.
- Hold a valid DQC and an up-to-date CPC
- Driver Qualification Card
- Hold a clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Able to handle and transport various types of cargoes securely.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Provide 5-year checkable history (no gaps longer than 28 days).
- Be able to provide clean basic Criminal Record Check prior to start date (obtained within 10 weeks)
- Flexible to meet the industrys requirements.
- Positive, flexible, can -do attitude and reliable.
