You will work across a wide range of projects in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision so they are looking for someone who can hit the ground running with depth knowledge of NMR (method development/validation required). Responsibilities• Perform independent NMR analysis • Experience with the characterisation of a variety of molecule types (such as small molecules, oligonucleotides, peptides) • Use 1D and 2D NMR experiments. • Experience with quantitative NMR and complex formulations (small and large molecules)• Providing analytical services to customers in the pharmaceutical and bioanalytical sectors to regulated laboratory standards. • Generate reports when required. • Develop new techniques within the laboratory • Ensuring that studies meet the quality standards and are fit for purpose for clinical phase.• Draw on literature.• Confident communicating directly with clients, establishing requirements and report outcomes. • Support Business Development in the generation of quotes • Train junior staff. The Person• Educated to degree level in scientific discipline.• In depth knowledge and experience of NMR• Experience of working in a GMP/GLP/GCP principles.• Previous method development and validation experience following ICH M10/ICH guidelines. • Good understanding of theoretical knowledge of the techniques and their application to the industry. • Ability to work independently.• Ability to develop new techniques and technologies.• Experience of troubleshooting. • Demonstration of commercial awareness.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
