We are looking for a Payroll Data Migration Administrator, who will ensure accurate and timely interpretation of client employee data for our client's Payroll Customers. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely data administration for our customers, and liaising with them, to resolve any data ambiguity issues. The Payroll Migration Administrator is responsible for ensuring that clients data provided from their previous payroll provider is transformed accurately into the correct format in Excel / CSV for upload into the BrightHR Payroll Solution.

The Payroll Data Migration Administrator is also responsible for basic payroll setup in liaison and with supervision of the Payroll Onboarding Consultants, who manage the relationship with clients during their Onboarding journey with clients.

Job Overview:

  • Deliver accurate and timely error-proofed data transformation in Excel, ensuring Right First-Time accurate uploads of data can be performed in the correct tax period ahead of their first parallel run.
  • Have a solid understanding of end-to-end payroll processing and follow the Payroll Processing Checklist to ensure all migration activities are carried out and completed in a timely fashion.
  • An ability to interpret payroll data processing activity and balance complex data sets year to date, for client parallel runs, with confidence.
  • Maintain your own training plan measured on the skills matrix driving your own learning to ensure you are fully conversant with being a BrightHR Payroll Data Migration Administrator within 6 months.
  • Ensure all your transactions are appropriately peer checked for accuracy accepting any training needs and developmental feedback in a positive manner, as necessary.
  • Work closely with the team of Payroll Onboarding Consultants, managing delegated duties effectively for the team.
  • Manage all data migration cases with Customers within SLA, and ensuring a full audit trail for any amendments and changes is maintained through the Case Management system.

What you bring to the team:

  • You will be an experienced and proficient user of Excel to an intermediate level and have a passion for administration of data, capable of meeting the following criteria:
  • Ability to successfully perform data transformation i.e. from Excel into our upload format i.e. Excel to Excel, from PDF to Excel.
  • Ensuring integrity of the data is maintained, and that all fields meet successful migration criteria in all cases.
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets accurately and quickly within an agreed time period, delivering against the agreed BrightHR data upload services SLA's.
  • The ability to foresee any issues with client data integrity, raising any questions with clients as necessary to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Have a passion for service excellence and you also would like to progress in your career to becoming a Payroll Administrator or Payroll Advisor as your preferred career path, with appropriate training and on the job experience gained through working within the Payroll Team.
