Role and Responsibilities:

-Design, develop, and maintain applications using IBM RPG programming language

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

-Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance

-Write efficient and clean code while adhering to coding standards and best practices

-Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to continuously enhance your skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team

-Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers

-Document code, processes, and specifications for future reference

Technically you will have experience around the following:

-Proven experience as an RPG Developer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects

-Proficiency in RPG IV programming language and related tools

-Familiarity with IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform and associated technologies

-Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles

-Problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail

-Effective communication and teamwork abilities
