S38 Supervisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Highways Clerk of Works to come and join a busy client in the Merseyside area to oversee and inspect S38 schemes, ensuring that all highway works carried out by developers conform to design specifications, industry standards, and legislative requirements.
 
The main duties of the experienced Highways Clerk of Works are:
 
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, workmanship, and compliance with S38 agreements and design specifications.
Ensure all works adhere to the required standards, including health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Provide technical advice and guidance to contractors and developers to ensure construction meets approved plans and specifications.
Maintain accurate records of site visits, inspections, and any issues identified, including reporting on progress and non-conformities.
Proven experience as a Clerk of Works or Site Inspector within highways, civil engineering, or S38 schemes.
Comprehensive knowledge of S38 agreements, highway design standards, and construction methods.
