My client is looking to recruit a Buying/Sales Administrator for their growing business. This is an exciting opportunity to join their team as the grow out into the USA. The role will have the following responsibilities;
- Direct report to CEO.
- Preparing specification sheets for new product development ideas
- Sending specification sheets and samples to China based suppliers
- Follow up with China based suppliers for quotations and samples
- Preparing Excel spreadsheets for CEO to review quotes from suppliers for final selection purposes
- Checking samples from suppliers and approving them before being sent to customers
- Preparing customer "decks/ presentations" in Power Point format for US based customers
- Liaising with in-house graphic design team to obtain assets to help prepare decks
- Preparing samples to send to customers in US and suppliers in China, includes all documentation needed for couriers/ customs
- Liaising with sales representative group in US, to ensure customer request are met on a timely basis, such as quotes and sample requirements
- Working with the CEO to take details for all customer presentations and quotations
- Collating samples for all US customer meetings
- This role will also have potential to transition working with our teams in UK & Europe at a later date
The person for this role possesses:
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Good knowledge of preparing visual presentations in Power Point
- Can do attitude
- Fast paced
The person ideally has (but is not 100% necessary)
- Good eye for product sourcing
- Negotiating skills
