We are looking for SEN Casework officers to join a Greater Manchester based local authority. In order to be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record working within SEN in a local authority setting, along with experience of holding a caseload.
Some highlights of the role:
- Hybrid working with two days in the office - fully remote workers concidered.
- Initial 6 months contract.
Overall duties:
- To manage a caseload of children with Education Health and Care plans to ensure that all appropriate actions relating to statutory requirements are met.
- Implementing changes in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of pupils with special educational needs, as mandated by the Children and Families Act 2014.
- To make judgements following annual reviews of Education Health and Care plans, to establish whether changes are required and prepare appropriate submission for EHC Panel about any necessary changes of provision.
