Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Head of Tax, providing expert tax advice, and developing tax strategies.
The role offers the opportunity to work 1-2 days a month in the office and to shape the tax function across the business.

We are currently exclusively supporting a highly acquisitive legal firm based in Manchester, who are seeking a skilled Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Tax, contributing to strategic tax planning and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Head of Tax on various tax issues and projects.
Provide expert tax advice to the group finance function, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimise financial performance.
Stay updated on tax legislation and industry trends.

Key requirements:

Relevant tax qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CTA).
Proven experience in a tax management role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
Strong background in VAT.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What’s on offer:
