We are working with a top-rate law firm in Manchester who are seeking a Trade Mark Formalities Administrator to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.

What experience is needed? At least 6+ months experience working in trade marks is desirable, this could be within trade mark records, trade mark formalities, or trade mark renewals. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to learn new skills quickly. A CITMA Admin qualification would be advantage, although this might not be a dealbreaker.

Within this exciting role, you will be carrying out a range of formalities tasks, supporting the team’s administrative function. Duties would include:

  • Producing reports for clients as required.
  • Raising new case records in the firm’s IP management system and updating these with all new and relevant info.
  • Ensuring all correct documents are collated in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with Attorneys and IPOs, acting as a main point of contact for both.
  • Preparing and filing trade mark applications.
