Trainee Freight Forwarder Key Responsibilities:

• Training & Development: Participate in a structured training programme to gain knowledge of freight forwarding processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
• Documentation: Assist in the preparation and processing of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and other required paperwork.
• Coordination: Support the coordination of shipments by liaising with carriers, agents, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the shipping process.
• Data Entry: Enter and maintain accurate shipment information in the company’s logistics software systems.
• Compliance: Learn and adhere to international regulations and company policies related to freight forwarding and transportation.
• Reporting: Assist in generating reports and tracking shipment status to ensure transparency and efficiency.

Trainee Freight Forwarder Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
