We currently have a fantastic opportunity for aWelfare Unit Refurbishment Engineerto join our clients team based at their site inManchester!
Our client is a leading supplier of welfare units across the north west and are looking to appoint another engineer to their team due to continued success and expansion.
What you'll be doing:
You'll be part of our clients refurbishment team responsible for:
- Stripping used welfare units of it's externally fitted parts and identifying repairs required
- Floor repairs
- Reupholstering seat covers
- Bodywork prepping and correction
- Minor internal joinery (kitchen fitting)
- Minor welding
Once your work is completed, you'll then hand the unit over to an engineer who'll install all of the required electrical and mechanical components.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Flexible working hours, you can start at 7am, 8am or 9am for example. As long as the work is done and you complete your 40 hours, our client doesn't mind the hours you start and finish!
Pay:
£35,000 - £38,000 per year.
Overtime is available, paid at an enhanced rate.
Experience required:
- Previous refurbishment experience of welfare units/cabins or similar
- Minor Welding experience
