Contract Role - Windows Lead Engineer - Hybrid/Cheshire - 06 Months Initial - Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Windows Lead Engineer to working for one of our well-known financial services customers in Cheshire area.

Role Overview:• Job Title: Windows Lead Engineer/ Windows Build Lead Engineer• Location: Hybrid/Cheshire (2 days a week onsite)• Contract Type: Contract • Duration: 06 months initially, with high potential for extension• Sector: Financial Services

• Windows Server internals level knowledge of all versions, preferably Windows Server 2022 and AD• Strong PowerShell scripting experience - Functional level programming which may interact with Windows Server core cmdlets - Automated process to create users, Disk RAID setup, Partitioning, configuring Network - DHCP, NIC, RDP & File share access, Package installation etc• Experience in Physical Server Build and Deployment process using HPE / Dell using ILO/IDRAC and knowledge to create automated ISO’s using Microsoft Deployment Tool (MDT)• Advantage if having experience working in DMZ environment - To work with internal stakeholders with CyberArk (Vaulting)/Network - Firewall knowledge• Preferred to have DevOps CI/CD experience (GitLab)• Strong interpersonal skill as the consultant is expected to connect with multiple senior stakeholders/SME in progressing the project deliverable.
