This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the first major energy transition projects in the UK. The role involves producing a comprehensive range of technical safety deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Producing and managing a full range of technical safety deliverables for a carbon capture pipeline project
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Conducting risk assessments and safety evaluations
- Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure safety protocols are implemented effectively
- Providing technical safety input and guidance throughout the project life cycle
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance project safety and performance
- Managing and reporting safety metrics and KPIs
- Participating in safety audits and incident investigations as required
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering
- Experience in Safety Engineering, ideally within the Oil & Gas industry
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience with onshore pipelines and/or CO2 is an advantage
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in the Oil & Gas sector
