This is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the first major energy transition projects in the UK. The role involves producing a comprehensive range of technical safety deliverables.



Responsibilities

  • Producing and managing a full range of technical safety deliverables for a carbon capture pipeline project
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Conducting risk assessments and safety evaluations
  • Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure safety protocols are implemented effectively
  • Providing technical safety input and guidance throughout the project life cycle
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance project safety and performance
  • Managing and reporting safety metrics and KPIs
  • Participating in safety audits and incident investigations as required


Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Experience in Safety Engineering, ideally within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with onshore pipelines and/or CO2 is an advantage
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in the Oil & Gas sector
