Main duties of the job
- Deliver clinical expertise on a shift-by-shift basis, providing comprehensive patient care in the operating department
- Recognise and respond effectively to urgent and emergency situations, ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
- Practice according to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), Health Professions Council (HPC), and Trust Code of Professional Conduct, guaranteeing a safe and high-quality service.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance the patient journey, promoting efficient and effective care.
- Function as an autonomous practitioner, confidently making decisions to support patient and team needs.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
- Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration/NMC Registration)
- Anaesthetics experience
- NHS Experience
- Exceptional clinical skills and sound judgement in high-pressure situations.
