Curriculum and Performance Manager - Engineering and AutomotiveNorth West/Greater Manchester with national travel£36,771 plus car allowance of £3,750Full Time, 37 hours per weekPertemps are thrilled to be working with a client who are one of the UK's leading apprenticeship providers to fill the position of Curriculum & Performance Manager.The role:
  • Line management of learning coaches, ensuring caseloads / cohorts are in line with learner to staff ratio
  • Conducting monthly performance management reviews based on learner experience and quality outcomes
  • Manage programmes in line with quality standards and funding rules
  • Ensuring effective CIAG, initial assessment and induction for all learners, to ensure learners are on the right programme and level
  • Closely scrutinise and monitor retention of learners, taking action in line with the retention strategy where learners are identified as at risk of leaving programme
  • Develop and embed an innovative curriculum with supporting schemes of work and learning resources
  • Hold quarterly standardisation meetings to ensure the intent, implementation and impact of the learner journey processes is consistent across the curriculum
  • Co-ordinate and plan assessments, exams and EPA across the curriculum ensuring invigilation is organised and exams are conducted in line with the awarding organisations requirements
  • Ensure Prevent, British Values, Safeguarding and EDI are embedded into delivery
  • Ensure learners with identified special educational support needs receive the require the support to successfully complete their programme
  • Instil a high performance culture in the team in line with the published company Values and Behaviours
  • Deliver a quality and comprehensive induction to learning coaches
Qualifications and experience required:
  • Hold or work towards Certificate in Education (level 4) or equivalent
  • Vocational experience in one curriculum area of responsibility (L3)
  • Maths and English at L2 or equivalent
  • Experience of creating and delivering high quality learning programmes
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant quality assurance systems particularly the education inspection framework
  • Vocational experience in one curriculum area of responsibility (L3)
