A leading higher Education provider is looking for an experienced Student Information Manager to join them ASAP on an on-going basis.

You must be available to start the role ASAP and be DBS checked

The role:

To provide positive leadership, management, support and development to Student Information Officers on campus whilst fostering a team ethic. Leading the team at one of our larger campuses, this will include the requirement to motivate staff, delegate and ensure effective communication across the team and wider campus community.

To manage the day-to-day operational activities of the Student Information Service in campus, ensuring that students can access the services they require throughout their on-course journey and that the student experience is prioritised at all times.

To ensure that exceptional customer service is provided to students and staff across a variety of programmes and intakes in campus.

To support the central quality unit for Student Information in the development of the service and the Student Information Hub in campus, ensuring a more integrated, consistent and customer-focussed provision across all locations.

To build effective relationships and collaborate with internal departments to facilitate the smooth running of services and ensure students and staff feel part of the ULaw community.

To lead and manage the implementation of the University's Customer Service Strategy within Student Information on campus, ensuring full engagement and embedding a culture of continuous improvement.

To ensure the Student Information Service is adequately resourced and equipped to answer all enquiries from students, staff or members of the public, ensuring that a prompt and professional response is given at all times.

  • To operate as the Student Route Visa Officer for the campus, collaborating with the University's Student Immigration Compliance & Advice team ensuring compliance with Home Office regulations.
  • This will include registration of visa sponsored students and holding disciplinary meetings with visa sponsored students who fall below the University's required attendance level as well as supporting Student Route visa audits when required.
  • Manage a high volume of complex issues relating to visa sponsored students to ensure continued compliance and maintain best possible student experience.

Demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills and judgement when dealing with compliance challenges and proactively reaching out to and collaborating with wider stakeholders to reach a resolution.

This role is fully office based

Monday to Friday 35hrs a week between 8-5
