I am looking to speak with an ambitious Geotechnical Director in Manchester to build and develop a Ground Engineering department within a successful Civil & Structural Consultancy, offering up equity.

With an already established workload coming through the Civil and Structural department, as a new Geotechnical Director, you will have work to jump on right away whilst having the time to capitalise on business development with your own network.

The role as a Geotechnical Director will suit an entrepreneurial Geotechnical Engineer with extensive experience in delivering ground engineering assessments, technical reports, foundation design and value engineering for major foundations and building developments.

Geotechnical Director Specification:

  • Chartered Engineer or chartered Geologist with a foundation design bias.
  • Expert full life-cycle project experience (from ground investigation through to foundation design).
  • Ideally detailed design and value engineering experience for large scale building foundations.
  • Understanding of Geo-Environmental Engineering with the ability to specify and manage Gi's.
  • Proven team leadership and mentoring ability.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with high level of BD acumen.
  • Day-to-day technical direction and leadership.
