Salary: 85,000 - 95,000 + 6,500 Car Allowance + 10% Pension

We are looking for an experienced Technical Director (Water) to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Director, you will lead and oversee technical design teams working on a variety of water schemes across the UK, valued at 10 million and above. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with several years of post-chartership experience to further develop their career with a leading consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design and delivery of water projects, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, promoting best practices in technical design and project management.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and other internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of water infrastructure schemes.
  • Provide strategic technical direction and innovation on large-scale water projects across the UK.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and legislation, while maintaining a focus on sustainability and environmental impact.
  • Contribute to business development activities and help grow the water sector within the business.

About You:

  • Chartered Engineer with several years of post-chartership experience.
  • Extensive experience leading technical design teams on water projects valued at 10m+.
  • A strong background in the design, delivery, and management of large-scale water infrastructure projects.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
  • Proven track record of managing project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions while ensuring project sustainability and compliance with regulations.
