Employment Solicitor (3+ PQE) / Manchester / 47,000 to 49,000

My client is a leading law firm specializing in health, social care, life sciences, charity, and social enterprise sectors. They are seeking aSolicitor (3+ PQE)to join their national Employment team, offering the opportunity to work on both contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.

They have also been listed in The Times 2024 Best Law Firms which just shows the level of firm on offer to join. Such a fantastic opportunity with fabulous benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Employment Tribunal (ET) litigation from start to finish.
  • Provide daily employment law advice on issues like grievances, disciplinary procedures, whistleblowing, discrimination, TUPE transfers, and reorganizations.
  • Engage in business development activities including networking, writing blogs and articles, and attending events.
  • Collaborate with clients and third parties to deliver high-quality, responsive advice.

Skills and Experience:
  • Essential: 3+ years PQE, experience in ET litigation, strong communication skills, and an interest in healthcare sector employment law.
  • Desirable: NHS experience (not required), flexible and quick to learn.
