Description
- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies
- Provide health and safety training to all staff
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation
- Investigate incidents and accidents and compile detailed reports
- Work closely with the construction team to ensure safe working practices
- Develop safety management systems and emergency procedures
- Act as the primary point of contact for all health and safety inquiries
Profile
A successful H&S Consultant should have:
- A strong understanding and knowledge of health and safety legislation
- Experience in a similar role within the Social Housing Sector
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Proficiency in risk assessments and safety management systems
